The Regional Bartending Competition Returns In Search Of The Next Aperitivo Icon, Grand Showdown In Milan 

Themed “Cocktail and Senses” – this year’s edition is not the typical cocktail showdown.  

Team entrants are encouraged to expand their horizons with creations that are each intricate, sensorial and representative of their bar’s philosophy. In search of the next aperitivo icon, teams will need to present creations that could extend the branches of the Negroni Family Tree.  

Cocktail and Senses challenges the teams to engage all the senses – sight, smell, taste, touch, and even sound – in the creation of their cocktails. 

PRIZE AWARDS:  

The crowned champion of the Campari Red Hands Asia 2024 will be rewarded with a cash prize of 3000 Euros and have their Campari cocktail featured in the “Negroni Family Tree” for 2025. In addition to this, the team will also proudly represent Asia as one of the Campari Red Hands Global 2025 – receiving invitations to attend various exclusive global events throughout the year.  

ENTRY CRITERIA:

1. Participants are required to sign up as a Team with a maximum of 3 members, with one member designated as the Team Leader. Each team must include at least 1 Bartender, and the remaining team member(s) can fulfill any role in the team presentation. Do note that Individual submission is not allowed.  
2. Must be inspired by the Negroni Family Tree. 
3. Must choose One of any Senses as a pairing theme: sight, smell, taste, touch, and sound. 

PROGRAM: 

1. Round 1 Local Entry Qualification – Video Submission 
   • Video duration: 90 seconds (max).  
   • Short Written Story: Inspiration and Cocktail Recipes 
   • Cocktail creation: must be inspired by the Negroni Family Tree 
   • Participants must bring in the any 1 of the 5 senses aspects (sight, touch, smell, taste, sound) to elevate the show and tell.   
   • Chosen cocktail prepared must contain 25ml of Campari  
   • If your entry video is successful, you will be invited to compete in your country’s Campari Red Hands Qualifications.-  
2. Round 2 Local Competition – Cocktail Menu Showcase
3. Round 3 Local Final Competition – Bring the Team to Stage 
4. Regional Grand Finals – Showdown in Milan

Only one country’s winning team (1 team member) will represent their country to compete in the Regional Grand Finals that will be held in Milan.
