Changing the narrative of hospitality
In our first season, we set the scene for some of the most important questions facing our industry: Why do we go to bars? How do we design them? And how do we source our ingredients? Talking to experts across all areas of the bar world - from writers to bartenders, producers to designers - we tackle these questions head on and build a foundation for seasons to come.
In our second season, we take a closer look at leadership, how we perceive flavour and how we find our place in this industry. With insights from inspirational leaders, scientists, bartenders, and advocates, we travel between Seoul, New York City, London, Cartagena and more to discover the depths of work, personal development and understanding required to address these weighty and important conversations.
In our third season, we explore the key notions of creativity, technique and locality. Speaking to experts from behind the bar, as well as authors, advocates, educators and innovators, we travel from London and New York City, to Bangkok, Jujuy and Lima to learn more about some of the most important conversations happening in the global bar industry right now.
We speak to people from different countries, cultures and communities to offer a diversity of thought and individual points of view.
Come with us across the Globe, finding inspiration from peers and experts outside the industry.
A place for bartenders to come together, be educated and look at the bigger picture in their careers and the industry.
Our content inspires conversations, sparks new ideas and challenges the norms of how the bar industry is run.

Led by Monica Berg, the Campari Academy Lab is a group of experts from different industries, backgrounds and cultures, hand-picked to help us deep-dive into thought-provoking topics.
Each Episode of PERSPECTIVES is based on one of these 4 themes, with the aim to divide all things bartender in 4 different broad topics and deep dive in them season after season.
Two parts of our industry that are becoming more and more important are design and technology. Their most natural link is through the making of drinks, but we also explore this theme through how we design our bars, through to how we collect information, how they can help us deliver better hospitality, and how crucial they are for business owners.
These twin concepts are integral to factor in when we discuss our global industry. From how bars foster community, to how they represent a culture, through to the bigger picture lens of how important bars are for society as a whole. Why do bars matter for everyone around the world? And how do they showcase the lives of the people around them?
We can’t talk about bars without discussing these interlinked topics, but while they seem like obvious conversation points, the nuances of both are often misunderstood. We take a wider look at the ingredients we use, from their locality through to their sociological importance, while also answering the biggest questions of all: what is flavour?
Making drinks is only part of running a bar – building teams, self-development and mentorship are just a few other important factors to consider when creating a successful bar. From how we lead, to why mentorship matters, nurturing individual talent to harmonising teams, we explore the details of how to make our bars and the people who run them a success.
