Author Arielle Johnson took over the Campari Academy in NYC for a hands on lab to explore flavor.
From taste-testing Boulevardiers with nose clips and exploring the role of aroma with a “Frankenstein” Side Car, to trying out “super taster” tests and more, a lucky set of NYC bar professionals joined the Campari Academy for a master class into the how (and why) of flavor.
Johnson, the author of the massively influential, James Beard Award-nominated book, Flavorama, led students through the world of flavor from the perspective of a chemist.
