USBG National Charity Foundation and Campari present Day of Service

Campari Day of Service 2026

What is Day of Service?

A nationwide call for bar and hospitality professionals to step into their communities with a shared purpose. For the ninth year running, volunteers across the country will come together to support local causes, uplift neighborhoods, and strengthen connections.

This is a moment for our industry to show what hospitality truly means: care, community, and heart that extend far beyond the bar. Whether it’s lending a hand to a charitable organization, helping beautify a shared space, or supporting neighbors in need, each activity on Day of Service adds up and makes a real impact. Join us!

Local leaders must be industry members aged 21 or older who want to get their city involved. Eligible individuals include bartenders, servers, distributors, Campari sales reps, and both active and non-active USBG members.

Responsibilities include joining an orientation call, organizing and recruiting for your city’s volunteer activity, sharing details with volunteers, collecting waivers and photos, and coordinating a Happy Hour with Campari sales, as needed.

Secure and organize a volunteer activity for participants (support will be provided). Recruit volunteers using the provided sign-up link and digital materials to promote the Day of Service through appropriate channels.

Maintain communication with the Day of Service team (Campari and USBG leaders) and registered volunteers, providing relevant details, meeting times, addresses, and expectations, and collecting timely waivers.

Collecting photos from the activity to submit after the event.

Coordinate a Happy Hour following the activity at a selected bar, collaborating with Campari Sales where applicable. Close the tab within the pre-set, budgeted amount per registered volunteer for approved items. Reservations are recommended.

Local leaders will receive a special, custom item of appreciation from Love & Victory for their efforts.

After volunteer sign-ups close, Campari and Love & Victory will mail all registered volunteers swag, including a custom t-shirt for the day.

We recognize that scheduling in advance can be challenging; however, we provide ample notice to facilitate arrangements. Early registration is necessary to organize sign-ups and ensure all volunteers receive matching shirts and other items.

Should you miss the registration deadline, volunteering may still be possible, subject to capacity. Please contact your local leader to confirm availability. Note that late registrants will not receive a t-shirt or be included in post-activity budgets for the Happy Hour, but participation is still welcome.

If there is no activity in your city, please consider becoming a local leader for next year’s Day of Service.

Activity Guidelines and Examples

For local leaders to consider when picking their activities: activity guidelines and examples of past activities and organizations listed below.

Orientation calls with Olivia from Campari and USBG will provide comprehensive details and guidance for selecting suitable volunteer activities. The intention is to streamline the process for local leaders.

For any questions or concerns, contact Olivia or your regional coordinator.

WHERE TO VOLUNTEER:

The preferred model is a turnkey activity: identify your organization, schedule participation, and attend with your group on the designated day.

DO’S

  • Choose a 501(c)(3) nonprofit or local community group with experience in organizing volunteers. Working with established organizations is much simpler than arranging it all yourself.
  • Suggested activities: park or beach cleanup, animal shelter volunteering, city garden work, food pantry assistance, or meal prep at soup kitchens.
  • Find activities by searching for volunteer opportunities in your city. Allow enough time to research the best fit for your group.
  • Plan for 10-15 volunteers per city, adjusting if your chosen group can accept more or fewer participants.

DON’TS

  • 21+ ONLY VOLUNTEERS AND VOLUNTEER ACTIVITIES
  • We cannot do anything related to children (backpack drives, working with schools, etc.). As a liquor company, Campari is not allowed to engage in any activities involving minors.
  • Avoid organizations with any political or religious affiliations.
  • Do not choose healthcare, mental health, or recovery organizations. If unsure, ask the team for clarification.
  • We recommend that you refrain from creating your own standalone activities or hosting fundraisers. It can sometimes be overwhelming to plan and execute an event, and we want you to arrive on the day and be refreshed and ready to give back. It’s best to work with an organization that’s prepared to take volunteers and simply send the info to your group, and then show up!
